Loved the tale of Dan Harris -- one of the characters in your Bellingham sojourn. I expect you and the fam will have some great adventures in Deutschland. I'll be waiting to hear of them in song. Brian and I had a blast with you in your summer vacation. You guys are great hosts.

James Higgins, you were the first live performer I saw as a freshman at Western in 2007. I've listened regularly to Verse, Chorus, Train ever since. Having just now stumbled upon your website, I'm so happy to see you are still making music! Hopefully I'll get a chance to catch a show again sometime. Kindest regards from Sacramento, California. - PC

Hi James. Just read your meandering about teaching. On the bit where you describe our house with 10 folk in it all competing to be heard with different music in every room and the dog barking etc, I would like to add, for the benefit of anyone else reading it, that this is not an exageration. All I can add is thank goodness we had good neighbours. How they put up with the noise I have no idea. Maybe they were noisy too but we just couldn't hear them over the racket we were making. 8-)

I always wondered where my youngest namesake of a cousin ended up. This website really tells the story! Brilliant. Well done.
2009 is "Scotland's Year of Homecoming" for all ex-pats who have been away long enough to have sobered up. Maybe you should pay us a visit. Remember to bring your guitar and you sense of humour. Everyone else will provide the rest.
By the way - does your mother know that you're oot?
Happy Cattle Show day.(This Saturday)

Excellent site! In getting your e-mail I've just realised I never got back to you after you kindly sent 'Neilston'. Where the hell does the year go?! Anyway 'Neilston' is first class, especially 'The Altar And The Bar' which I think about every time I squeeze between the Killoch and the chapel on my way to Brig O'Lea! Keep up the good work man!
